About The Role

We are looking for a Head of Operations who is passionate about operational strategy and implementation that generates revenue. You have the responsibility to oversee the day-to-day financial and business operations for the business. The ideal candidate will have a strategic and hands-on role focused on helping to implement or set up banking/wallet operations and the policies required to support the integration of vendors/clients.

What you will be doing…

1. Leadership

  • Actively participate in the development and implementation of the overall strategic direction of Plaqad in accordance with the vision, mission, values, and strategic direction set by the CEO of Plaqad.
  • To provide leadership to Plaqad departmental teams.
  • Be a sounding board to the CEO and the Board of Directors on all issues concerning Plaqad.

2. Standard Operating Procedures

  • To provide organisational leadership in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) across all departments in Plaqad.
  • To ensure cross-departmental participation where appropriate in the development of new SOPs and other operational controls across BHM Holdings companies.
  • Identify strategic gaps and ensure they are addressed or resolved.
  • Implement company policies and procedures at and across BHM Holding and BHM Holding companies.
  • Ensure that quality assurance control systems are in place and complied with.

3. Strategic

  • Coordination of the annual planning and report for Plaqad
  • Ensure appropriate systems are in place to monitor and manage risks.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators for Plaqads’ operations, produce regular reports for Management and follow up actions with action owners.
  • Work closely with other team leads in other BHM Holding companies.

4. Communications

  • Responsible for communicating and explaining new directives, policies, or procedures to Plaqad staff; for major changes.

5. Other

  • To contribute to short and long-term organisational planning and strategy as a member of the management team of Plaqad.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Founder and CEO, BHM Holdings.

What You Should Have

  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Strong business acumen as well as analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated budget management and financial forecasting experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of product commercialisation and revenue management
  • Big-picture strategic mindset with the ability to identify trends and drive growth initiatives
  • Holistic and proactive approach and proven experience in the development of processes
